One year followup: the playground is great, but there are a few shortcomings. There are no bathroom facilities or water fountains, despite the fact that the area is adjacent to the Aptos Middle School. Drainage is poor, so that the playing field is unusable after a rain or even after the lawn is watered. I have been informed that due to these problems, the field is no longer used by the Little League team pictured with our mayor and supervisor. |
